Dometic latches on a U320 side by side

I was fussing with my latches today. For those with a 95 up U320 and the side by side Americana elite, I would like to know if the metal latch catch for the reefer door is different from the freezer door. These are the bent 90 degree adjustable metal pieces that the plastic door latch 'catches' to hold the door firmly shut.
On mine, the freezer one extends farther 'in' and is a different color. The freezer latches firmly shut with the seal compressed.
The reefer door latch catch is bronze colored instead of the steel color of the freezer catch. It also only extends in about half as far. Because of this, the reefer door really doesn't 'catch'.
There is a plastic trim piece that covers these two catches and their adjustment screws.
