Time for fluid change

There was some discussion a while back concerning transferring Transynd from a 5 gallon pail. This method works well for me. I screwed a heavy nut on the end of the tubing for weight so it wouldn't curl up in the pail, started the siphon, duct taped the tubing at both ends so neither would accidentally fall out, and let her flow. A larger size tubing would be faster but this is what I had on hand, so is what I used.

My crankcase dipstick was prone to work itself back a quarter inch or so from it's "seated" position when I first aquired this coach causing a minor but messy leak, a simple "spring fix" stopped that problem.....next on the "to do" list is change out the coolant

Hi Ralph,

I like the way you transferred the fluid to your transmission.  I'm changing my fluid next week, and was trying to figure how to get the fluid in the transmission without creating a mess.  Great solution!

I just did all the fluids and did what Barrie suggested a week ago and buy a cheap pump that fits your drill motor. Absolutly no mess and you can tke the oil out of the tanks if you put too much in too. It is fast and easy from any position.  (I do not have a tractor to use!!!)  seriusly, a great simple cheap way that can be used over and over with oils.
