Kubota generator engine

My Kubota diesel engine generator will run for hours when the coach is stationary. Shortly after starting down the road it shuts down with a low oil pressure fault indication. I've changed both fuel filters and recently changed oil and oil filter.
Has anyone had a similar experience? Any suggestion as what to check?
Thanks in advanced.

Generally when a generator shows low oil pressure while on the road, is due to a low oil level, when during a turn when the oil runs to one side of the pan, it might uncover the oil pickup, run dry for a second, and shut down, if you can reset and it runs. I would be looking at this area.  IF you are sure the oil level is proper and it keeps stopping on low oil, start looking at oil pressure switch, bad wiring between pressure switch and control box, could also be the oil pickup has a defect and needs a higher oil level to keep it in oil.  Many things to think about
Might add half quart oil to see if any change in the shut downs.
Lots of area to think.

Also, make sure your "Auto Start" is "Off".  If not it will sense full batteries as you drive and turn the generator "Off".

Don't ask me how I know.............

OK. I added 1/2 qt. of oil and checked the wires and switches. No luck, generator still shuts down when I start down the road.

Do you know where the low oil level sensor is located ?

Thanks in advanced.
