Installing Trailer brake controller

Anyone know if there is a wire running from the front to the back 6 wire plug to handle a brake controller for electric brakes on a trailer on my 1989 U280? There is a blue wire that they say is there some where for trailer brakes. Have not found it yet.
I have been searching in the older forums but have not found anything.
thank you,
Dave

I found this thread on wiring a brake controller for a 1993 U280.  Not sure if it helps

Dave and Cris, On my 95 U280 I found a bundle of wires coiled up in the overhead cabinet to the right of the Right seat.  It terminates in another bundle at  the rear on the street side above the radiator.  May be different on different years.

Get a call in to the factory too - they would know if the spare wiring routing was the same.

There is an 'overhead' run, and there is a 'chassis' run. The 'chassis' run terminated in front under the dash toward the front. In the back it came out the passenger side of the engine.

Thanks Dave & Gary, I did find both groups of wires on both ends. Now get the controller in and should be good to go.
