Tv in lower bays

Has anyone added a tv to one of the lower bays for use outside? I am planning on watching TV out under the awning while BBQ'ing and was wondering if you could tell me how it was done, professionally or DIY and how things worked out after the install.......

Have not done it but what about a swing out mount bolted to the bay side wall?  Also on my coach there is a 12v outlet and an coax cable mounted in the bay.  Maybe you have one too?

I haven't mounted a tv in an outside bay (the bays in our '93 U225 are too short for this anyway) but I have mounted a tv in the back bedroom and I would suggest that you find and use a mount that locks in the stored (flat against the wall) position. I did not and the tv tends to swing out when the coach is in motion. I solve the problem with a classy red bungee cord but I would have preferred a locking mount.

I installed a 26" LCD  in June of 2012.  Used this mounting: RV Under Cabinet /Ceiling Mount 23" 32"

Our coach already had a coax outlet in the bay.  This outlet is part of the coax system that goes to bedroom.  Nancy made a cover (OU of course) with some extra padding to protect the screen.  We have really enjoyed this upgrade.  Attached is a couple of pics.

Camping World sells a really nice swivel mount with a very good lock on it.  Unit does not move.
I mounted a 20 in in the bedroom on my previous SOB.  The mount had a thumb wheel lock, but it would not keep the TV nfrom moving.  The mount from Camping world will hold the unit in place.

I have an original CRT tv in my 2001, with radio and speakers mounted above the TV, but have thought of creating more usable room in that bay by making an 'above or below' slide out TV....rather than side mount.  One that slides out and pops up, or slides out and hangs down.  Any thoughts?  I think it might allow a larger TV.

Hi M Roads,
  Slide out and hang down allows for floor use below TV slide out. Unless you build a enclosure for the slide out flip up, it might be hard to place anything on it. Space is always needed.
