Iron Horse RV San Antonio, TX

I have to make an unexpected trip from New Mexico to San Antonio to deal with a family illness and unfortunately was forced to miss the 6 state rally in KS that was this week, and consequently the chance to have my Aqua Hot serviced while there.  I won't have time to take my coach to FOT or MOT, and found Iron Horse RV on line and learned they are a qualifed Auqa-Hot facility.  I'm tentatively planning on also having my engine oil/filters/generator oil/filter changed while there, but have never even been in their facility before?  Anyone ever had any experience with Iron Horse RV in San Antonio?

Dan,

 You may want to PM Roger Burke and ask him about the service.  Not many he does not know of their reputation.

Roger just finished our service a few day ago....That dude is amazing. Besides having her purring he taught me how to do my own service and gave me a detail descripion of all the working parts.

I ditto those sentiments.  Roger is "THE MAN" on the Aqua Hot system....amazing.

What I really appreciate about Roger Berke is his honesty and competence.  Any one who has owned an RV or motorhome for more than six months knows that those two attributes are not always present in the same individual.

I did an oil change there a few years ago and felt confortable with there service. About the same price as Foretravel. I just had the oil changed and lube done at Speedco in Sa Antonio a few weeks ago. $250. That included a Fleetguard oil and fuel filter, I asked them not to grease any fittings on the brakes so now I have to figure out what I need to grease on them. I will use Speedco in the future.

I do not personally know Iron Horse nor have I received any reports about them.  I have no opinion.  They are Aqua-Hot authorized service.

I had mine serviced at the GA/FL line speedco last year. Professional and fast.

Thank you for the kind words.

Roger (he is the very best) has mentored me over the years and along with Don Quintana of AH has been more helpful than I can describe.

I would be honored to help you Dan.  You might want to call me as I will pass through SA going to Fredricksberg and then again on the 17th when returning.  So as early as the 12th might work also.

Plus learning of your concern will help me know if I need a part.  I have most of the high use parts and annual service parts so we are probably good to go.

We have heard wonderful feed back on Rudy's Aqua Hot service and trouble shooting. He is also a very nice guy to boot!  ;)
