Congratulations Brett!

I noticed your article in this month's issue of FMCA, one of several that you have contributed over the years.  The side radiators are enough of a challenge to keep clean.

You always represent Foretravel owners in a superb manner.

Ya, I have 14 articles accepted for publication by FMCA magazine.

Also appointed Chairman of the FMCA Technical Advisory Committee 2011/2012. 

Now, if I could only figure out how to get $.05/hour.......

Wow - I just read that article, and I remember thinking when I saw the title - now this is info that I can really use! Never thought to look at whom the author was. I'll be watching for more of your stuff Brett. Thanks.

P.S. It looks like the CAC has collected the most dirt behind the shroud on my coach (91 U225, 5.9 Cummins BTAC), and the only way I see of getting in there properly is to disconnect the tubing and pull the shroud. Is there a better way? Thanks for any tips you can offer.

Merle,

You should have enough access to the front of your CAC by raising the bed and going in through the fan shroud/between fan blades.

Use a strong flashlight, particularly in the bottom perimeter to insure that it is clean.

From my experience with my U225, 5.9 Cummins, rear radiator, removal of the fan shroud screws and sliding the fan shroud back toward the engine block is the only way to thoroughly clean the CAC. Its a real P

Brett, Good info in article even tho I no longer have a rear radiator.  There are plenty of them around in FT's and SOB's.  Keep up the good work.
