SO just wonder what your thoughts are along this line.Thanks.Never ran a Detroit that had a Jake so I don't know. But did run a lot of Detriots without them, both DD 318s and DD 238s. My experience with Jakes was with Cummins. They were all 3 stage and found them to be very effective. At very low rpm they would stall out the engine. Quote Selected
