Torque converter locking up and then unlocking at highway speeds.

On a trip from Billings to San Jose area thru Spokane I noticed a loss of power and the sensation that the transmission was searching for a gear.  The SilverLeaf did not show a gear shift however.  Along with this the ABS light would flicker.  The Cummins did show a rate of speed change sensor fault and the Allison did not list any faults which surprised me with the behavior of the torque converter.  If anybody is experiencing this problem look to the wheel speed sensor.  I went to Pacific Power and Equipment in Eugene, OR. Great Shop I was there for a output shaft leak which they fixed and they also discovered the bad wheel sensor.  I asked them why it didn't show on the Allison error list on the monitor (Transmission not Silverleaf).  They said the torque convertor is disigned to cut out when ABS is lost.  Therefore no fault.  I also would like to recommend Oregon Motorcoach Service in Eugene, OR. Nice people got the icemaker line replaced there along with some other items.  Good to bounce down the road for awhile,  do need to send in my front awning arm for a broken wire.  There goes $95 + Shipping.  Safe travels to everyone.
