Is this for a TPMS?

The rear wheels of our new-to-us U225 has some interesting connections. I've attached a photo. It looks like a TPMS but I can't find any remote readout. Of course, there are a couple of doors I can't get off until I dismount the little Audiovox TV (it's LCD but not HD so I will end up as a computer monitor).

Anyone have any clues?

It appears to be a tire pressure equalization system.

Check Dual Dynamics.

Craig,

Seems to me that if the air is free flowing between each tire to maintain equal pressure, then if one goes to zero, both go to zero.  So which one is the culprit unless the failure is visibly obvious?

I like my tire pressure monitor on each tire better.

I took a look at the link JD supplied and that is what it appears to be. However the system has a check valve that holds pressure in the good tire if there is a flat so that there is only a "minimal" loss of pressure in the good tire. If it did equalize pressure without a check valve I wouldn't want it. But I like it for now... and pending the installation of a TPMS system I'll keep it. At the very least it offers a quick way to know that the pressure is good in both tires (there is a color indicator).

I have the same system only the PO put 80lbs. pressure on so I have to fill till I click over into over-inflated.  I wish he'd have installed the 90lbs ones instead.
