What is this? Tank of some sort

While removing rear bumper today found a tank of sorts made out of the frame tube that the hitch is attached to. It has a filler cap, a line on each end that attaches to the engine block on each side.  It has a petcock on bottom but nothing comes out. Any ideas?

Collection point for the "slurp" lines coming out of the bottom of the air boxes in the block? Detroits used to just let them dump on the ground and got the reputation for leaking oil. Can't see the photo that well so just a guess.

Do not think this is the "slobber" tank as it is round (on my '93) located rear lower center of engine compartment. Take  1.25" wrench to remove the drain
