LED puck lights
This is an update to a posting from many months ago. My 06 Phenix has 53 puck lights as its main source of lighting. Last May I purchased all of the LED lights FOT had at the time in order to change them out. Had enough to do all but the bedroom. In late May I began changing them out and found it difficult to get many of the covers off but through the helpful suggestions of some on this forum I succeeded. In November I was able to acquire the remaining lights for the bedroom. I finally got around to changing them today. What I discovered and now wish to share with all of you is that they are alot easier to change in the winter. Not one of the covers was difficult to get off. The explanation must have to do with thermal dynamics or so my engineer son would say. Of course in May in south Louisiana it is hot and each cover was stuck to the vinyl ceiling whereas in January it is not hot and each came off without any effort. On another note, when I removed all of the halogen bulbs, I was careful to use a rubber glove and not contaminate the bulbs, so I have a bag full of slightly used to very used bulbs if anyone is interested in them.
