Dash Monitor Display Question

I have a quick question that someone may be able to help me with.  The dash monitor that doubles as the backup camera monitor and the display for the tank levels and other info, mine is the flip up model.  The issue I'm having is when it's in tank display mode the screen is very grainy, it's as though it is about to shift frames with a dark line across the bottom of the screen. The information is readable, but it was clear and now it is not.  When in camera mode the picture is clear.  I removed the dash cover to access the back of the unit and found the video input for the information screen.  This video input connection is sound and when pull it apart and reinserting it does not change the look of the screen.
I found the wiring diagram for the unit in my owners manual, it show the the dash unit/montor with the video input and another unit which is the camera modulator that is attached to the top to the monitor unit under the dash.  On the wiring diagram it shows another unit labeled (AUDIT 767) all the various tank sensors feed into this unit, I'm sure this is the controller/computer, it shows a video output which feeds to the motor video input in the dash.

So my question is, where is this (AUDIT 767) box located?  The wiring diagram only show the existence of the unit and not the location.  My coach is a 2004 40' U320.

Thanks in advance.

If I remember correctly, mine is in the center of the dash directly to the right (facing fwd) of the display.

Hi David,

In my 2002, the Audit computer is on the floor below the curved door storage compartment - in the center of the dash. Remove the compartment's rear wall and then the floor shelf. to expose it I'm not sure for the 2003.

Also if have there is a rolling of the images (not exactly what you descrribed) if mistakenly you select PAL video for the display of the fold-out monitor. See the manual for how to revert to NTSC.

That was it, thank you.  It some how got into PAL mode, it was very easy to switch it back to NTSC.
