Tow Car

Who knows what fuse you remove on a newer CJ style Jeep when you tow it so the battery does not die

See if this does not provide what you need.  I recall it did list what you want, if not a quick email to Jeep.com folks with your VIN number will get you great guidance, from my experience.

If you have a very recent Wrangler, you may find you do not have to pull the fuse, contrary to what you heard elsewhere.  If you need more info or help and this does not get you what you want, send me a PM and I will see what I can do or send phone number and I will call to discuss.  We had a 2004 Wrangler and now a 2012 Wrangler Unlimited.  They are different in the fuse matter. It also relates to how you tow (brake system), quite a bit more.  We had a trickle charger installed on one to help versus the fuse, but there is more, such as steering wheel behavior when towing.  Try the web site, if that or Jeep not quickly give what you need though, get back to me.  Mike

Had an 06 Wrangler Unlimited, key in the unlock position to tow no fuse pulling no battery issues in 6years of towing. Now 2012 Wrangler Unlimited, no fuse pulling, key in my pocket when towing. As far as the toad brakes go I use an M&G air brake system that requires no electrical hook up of any kind. If you use a brake system that requires electrical power you may need a constant hot from your coach to the brake system, or the vehicles battery to keep the tow brake from killing the vehicle battery. Also somewhere between 07 and 12 Jeep did away with the locking steering column, the best way to check that is to pull the key out and turn the wheel to see if it locks. Just a note here in the owners manual on the 2012 (there is a miss print in the manual) and in some tow equipment instructions thay say something about a battery disconnect and/or pulling some fuses, if the key is in your pocket and you have not wired anything into the jeeps system no need to unhook anything.
