AIR DRYER SERVICE

I have a question for the group about my AIR Dryer.  I'm doing my first service and I removed/discarded the Desiccant Canister and the large o-ring as per the instructions.  The concern I have is the kit did not come with a new large o-ring and did not state in the instructions to place one on the canister mounting nipple.  I have to assume the system does not use one anymore, but that bugs me.  Anybody else run across this issue.

Brad,

What make and model dryer are you working with?  Different dryers are very different in construction.

Brett,
It is Pure Air Plus DA 33100 and I using a DQ6026 kit.  I finally got a hold of the tech line at Haldex and they told me the large o-ring is not used anymore..go figure.
