Does Silverleaf display Generator hours?

Is there a way to get my Silverleaf to display generator operating hours on my 2000 U320?  Tired of opening the access door and pulling the thing out to look ;D

question, why do you have to look at it??
It is not connected to engine system so no info, but I am sure if you got another hour meter and hooked it up to the same wires the unit has that should work, do you think?
I never run mine except to lubricate the engine and make sure it still works

We removed the gen hour meter from the generator control box and placed it under the dash, so we can record hours when we fill up our fuel tank. Connecting it to the dash gen running green light circuit, which is the same circuit it was connected to on the generator.
Generator keeps a wire at 12-volts positive when generator is running. Our gen Magnum auto-start uses this wire to know that gen has started to run after a cranking cycle. Hour meter and dash LED also use this wire.

Well, we've been driving in 100+ degree temps for 3 weeks now and I run the generator while going down the road so I can turn on the AC and be comfortable.  The dash AC doesn't even come close to keeping my coach cool.  I asked because my SOB had an hour meter in the dash so I knew how many hours I running.
