New Head Light Upgrade

I am at Xtreme for Driving Light upgrade and while I was there they were finishing up a new Headlight upgrade. It is pretty neat as it uses a bigger outside light and it has a radius indentation on the outside of the circle.  This will allow the light to leak a bit to the sides too to help out on the turns.  I will see if I can get pictures next and post them.  There is more to it but I will get the specifics and post it with the pictures shortly.

Feel free to chime in Gary, it is your coach after all.

Loved watching them make the mold.  First time I ever saw that done.  Xtreme is amazing.

It must be nice to be in the club, but for all 4 of us poortravelers who aren't anywhere near Nac, it is hardly fair to hear about this great new headlight upgrade with no pictures! Curious minds want to know... ??? One of these days, maybe those of us not fortunate enough to be eye witnesses will get in on it too...LOL!

I am guessing the new design is more like what FOT came up with since they copied the mod idea from Xtreme originally. Knowing Xtreme and Rance, I would go that route, but I already have the original light upgrade and love it.
Also looking forward to some pix of it.

This sounds very much like the configuration of the "kit" I purchased from FOT. Nice upgrade from the original sharp radius edges; I was very pleasantly surprised.

See Gary Omel's post from today ("Big blowout turns into new head lights").  It has pics of the new conversion.  Also he mentions the rewire job that Xtreme did to bring full voltage to the new lights.  Could this be a problem on all older FTs?

I too posted in Gary O.'s post about the blow-out.  I simply love the updated look to the headlight conversion.  I knew I waited to have it done at Xtreme for a reason.
