Wall thermostat Kool-O-Matic

Does anyone know if the wall thermostat for the Kool-O-Matic can be rebuilt? If not, is there a replacement unit that will work? Thanks for any info!

What is wrong with yours? This is a very simple basic switch that uses a standard double throw switch. What could go bad? If you have a speed or motor run problem it could be in the resistor in the fan area.

Yes, the switch can be replaced.

The fan seems to run normally on low and high with thermostat control. 12V black wire in unit overheats. All connections appear ok. Where can I get info on new wall unit? Thanks for the input.
