Looking for Someone to do a Prepurchase Inspection in Seattle

I have plans to see, and if everything checks out, buy a 2000 U320 in Seattle.  Is there anyone on the forum who offers a prepurchase inspection type of service?

I would like it to be someone who knows Foretravels.

I see that there are RV Inspection Services available in the area, but I would like someone who would know what types of things to look for on Foretravels.  Someone who would know what it would take to get this coach to proper working order, if necessary.  And to also offer an opinion on its value.

I'm fairly confident that I can do a reasonably good job, but I think it would be worth the money to pay a professional.

If he were available, Brett Wolfe is hands down the guy we would use.

Sorry, we are in Angel Fire NM in the coach right now (escaping the summer heat).  Then on to Indianapolis for the FMCA Convention to present three seminars:  "Caterpillar Engine Maintenance", "Suspensions" and with Gary Bunzer "Ask the Expert".

I don't know anyone in the Seattle area to recommend.

Is John Christman still in the Seattle area?  He may know of someone who is qualified.

I live just north of Seattle and would not pretend to be qualified as an expert (I have a 2002 320), but would be willing to do a cursory look (not for a fee) as a favor after I get back from Alaska (Aug 18th).  I also wanted to point out that there is an authorized Foretavel service center in Eugene, Oregon (days drive from Seattle) and there used to be one at Liberty Lake ,WA although I don't know current status of that one (also a day's drive).  One of those service centers also might have a local contact you could use.  Good luck and I hope you can join the ranks of happy Foretravel owners.  Gordon Cole

Hello, I am new to this group, well kind of...but do recommend Oregon Motorcoach Center, in Eugene Oregon.  They have shown up as a Service center for Foretravel company out west and not far from you.  I brought my coach down from Washington and spoke to Jim Cooley, Service Manager for the company and have been very satisfied with correspondence so far....
Their company used to be the basis for Country Coach and have a well organized, well spoken/professional staff/site and functionability as well as a communicative plan to deal with any questions you or I can ask, so, for right now, I DO recommend them

Many of us here in the Northwest take our coaches to RnR Rv in Liberty Lake Washington.  Talk to Keith Woodruff one of the service techs, he was with RnR when they were a Foretravel dealer and really knows the coaches....a very nice man!
you can see their web site at rnrrv.com and the # is 866-386-4875, Keith may be willing to help you out.

Gordon, thanks so much for the kind offer.  I rally wish I could take you up on that however, I'll be checking it out this weekend.  Thanks for the info on the Eugene service center, that's right on my way home, so if everything checks out and I do buy it, that's nice to know they are there.

I'm still trying to figure out if I want to try someone other than at least a Foretravel owner.  At least all of you guys are up on the nuances of these.
