Something weird going on with a clearance(?) light.

Earlier this year I replaced the remainder of our clearance lights with LED lights. Never noticed if the side marker light above the porch lite was operational. Two nites ago I turned on the flourescent light behind the valance above the kitchen table. The outside side marker light above the porch lite comes on. Also with the ceiling light above the table. What goes??

Any ideas? Our assist handle by the door stays lit whenever the porch lite is on, as it does not have the touch/lite feature so I don't think the outside lights are doing this. Also, the rest of the clearance lights do not come on when that one lights. It does light when I turn on the parking lights. Really weird!!

weird lighting is usually bad grounding somewere, as I see it (if the light comes on!!!)

John has it right.

Pop the lens off and play with the screw that grounds the light. Other lights that come on or only partial brightness are usually symptoms of a bad ground.

If that does not do it, alligator clip one end of a wire to a good/known ground and the other end of the wire to the screw on the light that is normally grounded.
