Hi - we have had Coach-Net for several years and recently we had to call them for service - and we asked if they could send a mobile RV tech first and they said yes BUT if they couldn't get us going and we needed to be towed anyway it would be our responsibility to pay for the tow.  So we talked to Good Sam and they said they would be taking care of both.  So we switched.  The operator at  Coach-Net did not in any way make us feel we were in good hands.

In my book, Coach-Net is much better.  They have not sent me a guy just out of prison like RoadCare (Good Sam's sister company) did.  And they have not stuck me in Columbus, Ohio for  a whole weekend like RoadCare did.  And you are going to have to pay for that mobile RV tech by hourly rate after he gets there anyway.  His services are not free, only his rate to get to you is covered.  Their contract reads just like they told you.  Go over to RV.net and read the threads comparing both Coach-Net vs Good Sam, and Coach-Net wins every time.  Bet you will  be back with Coach-Net within a couple years!  Oh, if you break down in Alaska or Newfoundland you better have Coach-Net, cause they will tow you back to the closest facility who can take care of you, even if that is in the lower 48!

I used Coach-Net a few weeks ago. The tech said the first 2 hours were covered by Coach-Net, and I had to pay only for time after that. Which I did. I thot that was fair enuf.
