Odyssey Batteries

I see on this forum that several people switched from group 34 Optima batteries to group 34 Odyssey batteries.                                          While researching the Odyssey batteries I have found that the dimensions are not quite the same concerning LxWxH.
Can someone that has switched over to the Odyssey batteries tell me if the positive post are of the same dimensions on center when sitting side by side as the Optima batteries? I don't want to buy new cables.

Thanks a bunch.

Tom, I recently purchased two Odyssey PC 1500 batteries for starting duty. They fit just fine sizewise but, please see these posts for the issue I had with alternator charging them and the new Lifeline GHP 8D house batteries.
New battery setup (was RE: House Batteries boiling)
Also, House Batteries boiling?

After much discussion with both manufacturers and helpful advice from Neal P, Brett W and others I ended up returning the Odysseys and buying two Lifeline GPL 2400T starting batteries that are much more compatable with the new house batteries. The other option was to install a battery switch to seperate the house batt's from the altenator which I may still do.

The Odysseys are great batteries but with the charge rates so far apart that's the direction I took.  Side note: the Lifeline's are a bit taller than the Odysseys but fit fine otherwise.

Thanks for your reply Dean.
My house batteries are AGM and I hope I don't have any problems.
