Later model of 34 ft. FT??

We are considering a FT for travel in Mexico. I saw a 34 ft. for sale by the factory and it looks interesting. Can anyone give me more info on this model? Any special problems? Do the 03 and up have any structure problems? What happened to the Yahoo owners group?

 THanks

Welcome!

Can't help with the coach but:

The Yahoo Group became what you are seeing here.  The Moderators transferred everything over.

Moisheh,

My U270 is two years older, two feet longer - but with enough similarities (e.g. ISL 400, single slide) that I might be able to answer some questions.  My search started with 34 footers also.

And, if you were to find yourself interested in pursuing ownership of one like mine, I could offer you a deal that would get your attention.

Suggest that you send me a personal email (click on my name on this post, and you will find my address in my profile) if you want to follow through.

As stated above this is the yahoo group. The old yahoo threads were ported over and you can go back and read them still.

The FT factory has a unit that I was interested in. I was very disappointed with the sales person. Slick would be the adjective I would use. I noticed the gennie had a lot of hours. He told me it was used as a "taxi" for business associates. I sensed that the salesman was telling me a story! When I pursued the "story" he started to tell me he did not know much about it! I would have expected more honesty from the factory. The price certainly did not reflect taxi usage as it was way overpriced.

I have a friend who also had an unfortunates experience with the salesman at FOT.  My friend is now looking into Tiffin.
