Windshield Shades

We want to update our windshield shades on our 2000 U320. Thinking we might want to go with "power" ones that can either be lowered slightly for sun visors or all the way down for nighttime privacy, storage, etc.  Your recommendations on brands and self install vs dealers?? We are in CT.

We bought MCD and are very pleased with them.  We got the two shades, one for day and other for privacy.  Great aid for driving too.  Not inexpensive though, a bit of a luxury but.

We also got the MCD power shades for the windshield and really love them.  We have the dual shades also.  Had them installed by MCD in McKinney TX.  The installation (and mainly fitting) of the windshield shades is more complicated than the side windows and MCD didn't encourage self-install, although that may have changed.  You will need to call MCD to get their approved installers in the East.

We went with two night shades so I can lower one more than the other. Works well in the morning when the light s coming in the passenger side.  Do not have te privacy shade yet but might put it on soon.

Just another great adder to the coach, I have the one full across the entire windshield, works great as sun visor too, in fact so nice that I had one installed over the door so I could drive north early in the AM with the sun cooking me, works great, just another wonderful mod from Mecca land. Between FOT, MOT & Xtreme, your covered.
