New Camera

Our rig had a color camera and monitor but the image was dimming - hard to see when driving with sunglasses on. Replaced both. Much better now. Anyhow, when I finished the job and proceeded to the now-it's-time-to-turn-it-on stage, I pushed the button and... nothing. WTH (heck!) Now, what. Start batteries on line. Check. Master switch enabled. Check. No fire to the hot wire still. I should mention that I had never found a fuse for the camera when I first started the project. Anyhow, in looking around inside the dash I spied a couple of rocker switches. I clicked one and whatdayaknow - current and an image on the monitor. I guess these things are breakers. I need to look into it and figure what the other one controls too.

Jor, looks good and now that rear camera needs to be protected from road dirt and rain while driving AND most importantly protect your air filter from all the crap that goes thru' those vents that are wide open. Get a deflector made like the one here that I did (and now 8 others have) on this Forum. You will get longer life out of the filter (saves money)

Well, thanks, John. That's a fine idea and I think I'm going to do it. I always thought it strange that the air intake was up there completely exposed to the rain, not to mention an errant water stream when washing the coach.
