I removed ours, put in a whole RV filter back where the water hose connects to the coach, and added a Pure water filter right on the sink nozzle that we turn on for drinking water filtration only. Systems works better 'cause now I can dewinterize the coach by removing the whole RV filter and put bleach in the canister and sterilize the system without getting bleach all over me by trying to fill a hose and then hook it to the coach.
Filters are a lot cheaper also.

I get mine at my local RV store. It saves S&H charges.

There is a cheaper replacement for the exoensive Everpure filter.  Bill W gave me the website and I bought them.  I will do a search here and see if I can come up with the details.
