Electrical problem tripping GFI

I am in a CG in Savannah, GA.  The GFCI tripped out in the bathroom and I cannot get it to reset.
I have unplugged everything on 110 in the coach and it still trips.
I can use some help, I feel like I am missing something simple.

Gary, unplug from the power pole, fire the genny and see if it resets, if it does move to a different spot.

my U295 had the same problem. Checked every thing even replaced the GFI. Then I found that there was an outlet on the GFI circut that was under the cooktop.  It was for the spark lighter for the cooktop .The lighter was bad and it was tripping the GFI.Gam

Gam, I will check that in the morning, too tired  now.
I gave up and wired load and line together so we can at least make coffee in the AM.
Still Baffled.
Will also replace GCFI in the AM.

Agree.....Replace GFI outlet. Mine tripped a year or so ago and I had the same problem. I was told the GFI has a spring in it that can wear out somehow and as a result will not reset. I replaced and have not had a problem since then.

I give up..... I replaced GFCI to no avail.  I finally took the chicken way out, threw the GFCI out and put in a duplex receptacles.  Enough is enough.

The GFCI circuit in these vintage years Foretravels is problematic.  I've had the same issue for years on and off.  The source of the problem needs to be identified.  There is a reason for the GFCI tripping.  By installing a regular duplex receptacle, there may be a risk of some real electrical problem developing.  I wish I knew how to track down & solve this headache.

Gary, in the 1988 grand villa that I had, I had the same problem, almost drove me crazy, then I started looking of outlets, found one in a lower cabinet where I had put to gallon bottles of water.  One was against the outlet and the bottle was sweating on the outside due to condensation.  Removed the bottle, took a hair dryer and dried the outlet, walla everything started working after resetting the GFI.

Some times we just don't have a good Day.
