New life in the old Bose system

I am in the process of upgrading sound and video sys in the coach.  All of that old stuff is gone.  No VHS, no DVD, only digital; any way, still using the old Bose system, tied the front and rear speakers on both side together, getting rid of the 5 channel nonsense, allowing all five speakers to work on two channels, along with the the woofer.  Turn the volume down on the Bose controller to get rid of a buzzing sound and compensate with input volume of devices.  Sounds pretty darn good!

I pulled all of the speakers and added a sound bar with wireless woofer.  Works good.

Good morning,
I was also thinking of adding a sound bar and wireless sub to my '02 U320 3610. If you get a minute would you give the highlights of your upgrade? where did you put the sound bar? where is the Bose controller located? Did you keep the "input selector" panel? how did you connect the radio to this set-up? etc.
Any insight is appreciated.
thanks,
