Re: FMCA tire program

Today I went over to Cummins Bridgeway to check on progress and I should have Forrest (U270) back either tomorrow or Thursday. After the visit there I went over to two tire dealers to price the FMCA Program. I will likely go with TCi even though they are further than Best One Tire & Service based on installation costs, but I have to call them back tomorrow to confirm they cannot meet TCi's installation prices.
The details:
Michelin XZA3 275/80R22.5 Load Range G (Michelin Article #26413: this # is needed to call the FMCA Michelin tel. no. to get the FMCA price. The dealer will give this number so you can get the price from Michelin before you buy.)
FMCA Price: $497.39
FET (Fed. Excise Tax) $25.23
Sales tax (OH @ 6.5%) $32.33
The above will be billed to your credit card which you will have to get pre-approved by Michelin over the phone.
TCi Installation Labor, supplies, other shop costs and sales tax for 6 tires (I supply the 2- 8" valve stems for the inner duallies): $543.20 ($90.53 ea.) This amount to be billed by the intalling dealer to you direct. Note that because I provide the two valve stems for the inner duallies the total is lower by $16.40 .
Grand Total: $3,872.90
