Last trip to Camp Foretravel :-(

Well, the sad day has come much sooner than expected. I'll be delivering the little lady back to Nac for some final upgrade finishes and maintenance, then placing her on consignment. The little property I purchased up in the NC mountains has now grown to 20 acres plus a cabin so I'll be focusing financially on that much sooner than anticipated.

This has been a great forum for information and everyone has been incredibly helpful. Thank you for the fun times and I hope to be back some time in the future! ^.^d

Mark,

:(  indeed - but don't be a stranger!

Feel free to post the coach in the classifieds here before you place it on consignment if you'd like.  I've PM'd one member that I know is looking.

Sorry to hear that but understand.  Say hi to your mom for us. It was fun seeing you in Nac and the GV last year.

We just bought a cabin in N GA and even though we can't really take the time or money for a MH trip, we can't bear to part with it either.

Yeah, we were planning on building an RV pad with our original land purchase, then the next door property came on the market with a cabin and the best laid plans were blown up. My idea before had been build RV pad first then build a cabin later, but it cost less to put a down payment on the neighbor property with a cabin and road already done!
Oh well. May develop some of the property next year and hopefully make enough to get back into the RV fun.

That's not a cabin!  That's a mansion.  Come to my house and I'll show you a cabin.

I understand completely, as the purchase of our country place, and the ensuing improvements are preventing us from having all the Foretravel fun I'd like.

Nice cabin.  Ours would fit inside that one.  My biggest regret is that we can't get the MH there.  Even though it is ten minutes from town (Blairsville), the road up is barely adequate for my F150.  It was the right property at the right price and I'm looking for a place to park it if we happen to go up in the rig.

You both make us a little jealous but they are in the wrong part of the country. We would like a similar setup in the Ozarks but one with Foretravel parking. I don't think I can give up our 93.

We were talking something similar but keeping the Foretravel. I bet soon we will have a huge bunch of older coaches running down the road and we can all get antique plates too.

Looks like a nice  and comfortable cabin.  Mule deer on the fireplace?  I don't think those are in North Carolina are they? It is a nice one too.
