Another plug for these guys

Well the new 450 Aquahot we installed in my friends C Coach is running great, but, for a couple of days it was not fun as we thought there was a problem with the control Board or?? Talked to Roger and Rudy many times and emailed us with ideas but ultimately it turned out to be a problem with an auxilary hot water tank feed valve that suddenly had a problem with the 12v solenoid that controls water flow to it. Hunted for the reason the 450 would shut down on electric heat side and this was it. The Magna is well built and many safety factors built into the wiring.. Good experience for me and want to thank Rudy and Roger for their unending help on this. Great knowledge and so friendly about it. Now I have many parts from the older one if anyone needs then plus a good working control board.

The Country Coach had a very unusual setup something that I had never seen.

There is a secondary 110 volt hot water heater in the this coach.  When initially installed they "cheated" the on / off control onto the Aqua-Hot electronic control board.  The original control board would work this way however the new control board would not work with this add on.  It thought that there was a short in the switch wiring.  When the wiring was for the secondary heater was removed the Aqua-Hot worked as designed.  This secondary heater can probably made to work by using relays to control both the secondary heater and the control board.
