Docking Light Switch Illumination

Before I start taking things apart does anyone know if the docking light switches to the left of the drivers seat are supposed to illuminate when on?

Keith,

My switches light up when turned on if and only if the ignition switch is on too.

Thanks Rudy.  That's just what I wanted to know.

On our 99' the switches will illuminate if the headlight switch is on.

Our docking light switches have very small grain-sized bulbs that were illuminated when dash lights were on. The little bulb did not turn on when docking lights were turned on, and did not indicate that docking lights are on.

But we changed that and connected each bulb to the hot side of the switch that turns on docking light relays, so now if a switch is turned on, the switch lamp also turns on.

We added a single bedroom switch & pilot LED to turn on both docking lights, as our coach did not have this switch.

We also added a single switch by the front door with an LED that we now use to turn on docking lights. The door switch is really the only one we now use as we are usually at the inside or outside of the door when we want docking lights. We have used the bedroom switch if we hear something strange outside.
