IR Remote Control

I have to install a VIP Sat receiver inside a cabinet above where I sit in our U-240.  I know I can use a IR extender.  What would the members here recommend to pipe the signal to the IR Window about eight inches outside a overhead.

Our coach has a Xantech 789-44 IR repeater (Xantech.com).  It works very well.  We had some problems with it earlier this year, but after replacing the emitters from the Xantech box to the stereo receiver and satellite receiver it has worked flawlessly.  I also installed one of these in our home in Tucson.  I think I got it from Amazon.  You do need to be careful about interference from fluorescent lighting.  After we replaced the nearby fluorescents with LEDS, that problem was solved.
