Projects completed

Here are some pics of the latest projects completed by FOT. As always workman ship was first rate. All the old parts have found new homes and I am headed to Livingston TX tomorrow to have the coach weighed. No more projects for awhile

Falcon Guy, our step conversion was probably the best upgrade we have ever done.....AND, DW has done a LOT of upgrades; although I keep up with her....

Thanks for the input everyone. New TV /electronics are in the planning stage for the first part of next year and I would certainly appreciate any and all comments on what components have worked best for you. Pics are even better.

I put in a Vizio 39" narrow framed LED HDTV this summer.  It is light weight, is power use friendly and has a great picture.  It is attached to a movable mount that is attached to a plywood panel attached to the aluminium overhead structure.  I put in a BluRay player to take advantage of the HD.  The BluRay player and the coach PC connect to the TV with HDMI cables. I also did a bit of 110v wiring mods in the overhead to give me a switched outlet for all of the electronics up there to shut off parasitic power use.

Take a look at the Vizio E29i series of TVs.  It is a smart TV (wifi and Netflix, etc.) and it fits in front of the existing hole nicely in my 2002, which is likely similar to yours.  Some folks want a huge TV, but if you aren't one of them, this 29" fits very nicely and is large enough for my old eyes.

I forgot one other mod FOT did at my request during the step mod. I park in a commercial storage facility and because of the close proximity of the travel trailer next to me I wanted to the step retracted while parked. They installed a switch inside the passenger side first bay that lets me retract the step as the last thing I do when I leave. I know there are other ways people do this but this works the best for me.
