HWH Gyro Leveling Sensor

This is what I understand, others may be able to correct.  Our 2001 U320 HWH has a leveling sensor that tells the coach what is level.  That system's sensor can be adjusted, moving its idea of level to being a bit higher on some side or front to back.  The instructions to do this are on the HWH web site.  The sensor on ours is a round device mounted on the floor under the cooktop.    I need to adjust this sensor to redefine what is level, and the question that came up is, do I want to convert to the newer sensor?

I am thinking then about replacing this original sensor which I understand uses a series of mercury switches with a newer version that is referred to as a gyro (no mercury).  I was told by some service folks that it works well but being more sensitive may tend to re-level the coach a bit more frequently and to adjust to smaller changes.  I may or may not like that but they like the system.

Have others converted to this system and, or perhaps it is the usual system in newer coaches?  Any ideas pro or con this sensor over the original one?  I know that John S. made the change and I have a PM from him on his experience.  He may want to repeat that here for others.  I hope others have tried out the gyro system.

We keep our Electronic HWH in super sensitive mode all the time, by grounding a test wire, and do not find it too sensitive.

If we are staying in one place for a while, we get out our new EZ Level and manually tweak after HWH has done its thing.
