Tow Vehicle??

We're considering the purchase of an '07 GMC Envoy Denali for a dinghy. Any comments or advice? Anyone with experience with this particular vehicle?

I tow the GMC Terrain.  It has been easy to tow.  It has a six cyl engine as the four does not have enough power.  It is a little heavier than the HHR we had before.  The 400 HP we have, does a great job and towing in the mountains so far, has been a breeze. I did put a fuse switch on it instead of having to pull the fuse everytime.  DAN

Bob,
We have both a Trailblazer and an Envoy. Even though they are basically the same vehicle we have had far better success with the Envoy. The Envoy has a better switch on the dash so you can tell that the 2 speed is in neutral. The front frame on the Envoy that you bolt your tow bar mounts to is built differently and is more robust than the Trailblazer.
We have had to take out the drive on the 2 speed on the trailblazer and repair it but that was not a big deal either. They are somewhat heavy compared to other small tow vehicles but our 320 has had plenty of power to pull it around. We use a Roadmaster tow bar because that is what we had. There are others on the market that are rated to pull the Envoy just look around for what features you need.
