Can't recommend anyone in particular, but you want someone who guarantees that if they break it, they will replace it.

No idea either, but I would call the local larger RV dealer, ask for shop, ask for their recommendation for a 1st class glass shop. Call the glass shop and make arrangements.
For me, I had both windshields replaced at Keystone RV, Pa., they called in a local glass outfit, they did the perfect job on each side, acted and worked as if they had done many of them, no second tries, they just slid in perfect and three years later, no issues.

Reseating the windshield is not a horrible job. Our '93 U225 needed that job and the mobile windshield guy was able to do it at our campsite and then we sat for 24 hours.  The other side needed to be replaced, and for that we went to Tennessee RV after ordering glass through Foretravel.

As I recall getting a windshield from Foretravel is very important to long term success. The exact windshield replacement is only available from Foretravel. Others are close and work sometimes but there have been instances of the the aftermarket windshields popping out and or cracking.

Carol,

Unfortunately, there is no certification required in most all states for windshield technicians. In order to meet the DOTs FMVSS 212, the windshield has to be glued in place so in an accident, it will stay (at least 75%) in place. Large settlements have been made in cases where the vehicle was released to the customer too quickly and then involved in an accident where an occupant was injured. With the new, lighter vehicles, windshields are now a structural member and give a lot of integrity to the roof in case of a rollover.

The newer glues have shortened the long curing time you experienced to about an hour now.

So, how do I know this obscure tidbit? The Germans did not glue their windshields in back in the 80's but in order to bring the vehicles into DOT compliance, many changes had to be made in order to get approval and for the bond to be released when a "gray market" car was imported. FMVSS 212 was just one item in a long list I had to do.

Did the windshield pop out of the molding?  Like body twisting did it?

It appears that was the cause.  It has done this before and then cracked.  Trying to catch it this time. Looks like the gasket has slipped out in the top corner driver side.

The reason I asked is that I had a right front windshield top reseated three times.

Turned out the right front HWH fill valve in the "six pack" was bad.  As we drove along the pressure was not refilling the airbags. Slowly lost pressure.  Had to have the steering wheel off center to compensate for the low ride height at that corner.

Driveway Dips would bottom the right front corner and "twist" the body shell and pop the windshield out of its molding.

Solenoid bad in our case.

Sure have it looked at.  Unless you are in extremely unlevel areas off road?

Or both?

Bob,
I had that problem on my '95 U320.
It was caused by old sealant in the seal, both sides and it prevented the seal from fully seating on the coach and windshield .
Replaced the seal and never had a problem with that windshield popping out again.
