A special opportunity that combines two rallies into one:
First, the Florida Foretravel Motorcade Club winter rally will feature events to waken your sense of team adventure and community support. After some spirited building of our teaming skills we will become "Safari Scavengers" at Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo, Tampa, FL. www.lowryparkzoo.com We will then celebrate our success with a special Spanish dinner at Café Don Jose. www.cafedonjosetampa.com/
We also will have a private tour of Rotary Camp Florida a 21 acre day and overnight camp that caters to children with special needs and challenges. The camp has need of office supplies and paper goods so as a service project donation, please bring paper, crayons, pencils, pipe cleaners, craft paper, paper towels, toilet tissue etc. and take them to the Camp. All of this is built into the LazyDays RV Campground "Old Fashioned Fun Rally" including multiple workshops, presentations, holiday celebrations and two days of complete meals. The two dinners will be turkey one night and roast beef carving station the other.
Note that fees for the Foretravel Winter Rally and the LazyDays Campground Rally portions are handled separately. You need to pay both to attend the rally.
The fee for the Foretravel Winter Rally including the visit to the Lowry Zoo with lunch and then dinner at Café Don Jose is $75 per person. Registration is by using the slip below mailed no later than November 15.
The fee for the LazyDays "Old Fashioned Fun Rally" including 3 days (Dec. 4, 5, 6) of full hookup camping (50 amp electric) at the LazyDays Campground, all other meals, workshops and entertainment is $135.38 (this includes tax with a 20% group discount), two persons per RV, additional people extra. Registration is by contacting LazyDays directly at 800-905-6627. Be sure to mention you are with the Florida Foretravel Motorcade Club.
Their facilities and directions are described at http://www.lazydaysrvcampground.com/infoTampa.aspx. Check in at their Campground office (not the sales and service building). Our sites will be together at the northwest end of the campground.
If you wish to extend your stay at the LazyDays RV Campground you may do so by registering with them for additional days.
We have also arranged with Busch Gardens, Tampa for their group (15 person minimum) rate of $79.50 ($74 + tax) per person on Saturday, December 7. This includes admission to the park and a food voucher. (Parking is extra so plan to car pool.) Please indicate on the slip below if you want to join the fun.
Come prepared to make new friends, team up with chapter members and participate in safari adventures while enjoying the old fashioned fun at Lazydays all in a casual safari style.
