@Tim I'd say at least 50hp since some of the IH45s come with the ISX650.

So easy, call the Factory and ask for Beverly.  If you are a new Foretravel owner, your first year is free, including the decal numbers for your front and back caps.

                           Like most of you folks , I have spent a fair amount of time at Foretravel . I have noticed most every time there and most days as well , people going to MOT and Extreme  for service only to return each evening for free camping at FOT . Don't blame them one bit for charging these people . Fare if fare . Be honest and everything works out better for everyone . After all there is a real cost involved here.          Brad Metzger

Foretravel is very accommodating.  I spend a lot of $$ in Nac and at the factory.  When I had cataract surgery I stayed in the campground to recuperate for a number of days. Never charged, but I did offer to pay. Course, I had just spend a large number of coach bucks both for service and upgrades... Being nice goes a long way in life..

I have heard a number of owners bragging about using the FOT campground then leaving early for appointments at other locations... Even saw a "gentleman" do major damage to a water line and electric box (backing in) then leaving early for service elsewhere without reporting what he had done... Course, we reported his name to management... Oh, well....can't fix ignorant.

Brad is absolutely right ... fair is fair. MOT and Extreme are short on space, but that is not an excuse to try and "get one over" on FOT.  I am just always excited to get to Nac and spend a bit of time at Camp Foretravel when we are there for service. We try to make appointments, but on occasion we have had to ask to be worked in to their already tight schedule for urgent repairs.  If that means we need to spend some extra days waiting for them to get to us, we try to be mindful of the favor they are doing by juggling their staff.  It is always nice to run out and bring back some doughnuts for the break room ... and after a particularly good experience we bought pizza for the shop.  It was only about $100 for everyone ... and EVERY service tech stopped to thank us personally.  The great attitude of all the folks who work there keeps me coming back.  The Service department, Parts guys, Upholstery craftspeople ... and, of COURSE, the Remodel SHop with Flanagan and his crew ... make heading there a no-brainer for us.  I use their laundry, sit under their portico, use their internet and their lounge, rely on their Security at night, wash my coach, empty my tanks ... why on Earth would you complain if they asked for a bit of compensation for all that benefit??  We have gotten a tutorial almost every time we have needed a repair.  They remember my name when I call on the phone and act like they are happy that I am there when I pull into the parking lot.  It is a beautiful thing and I do not take it for granted.

 Carol and all.....
So correct on what we sometimes 'expect' and what often is 'not given'.
... IF you stay on FT property... make sure they get some bucks from your stay!

We, as owners of older coaches..."should" make sure we pay fair value for 'anything we use'...and yes,  sometimes we SEE...this does not occur around us and sadly this is life.

But..Upfront, I will say that FOT was "Extremely" courteous to me when I was "looking" for a FT on 2 stays in the Camp.  I did search all FT's in Nac. in my few days there.

FOT won my heart and my allegance..  I will do my very best to put my $ where my mouth is.  FOT is a seriously unique/wonderful company.

When at MOT, I stay at MOT. Xtreme has an apartment, although I have always just left it there. When at FOT, stay for free at FOT.

Being an active member of the Motorcade Club in support of FOT should be in any FoFums priority list.  Then, you get to stay at least one night for free when in town, as well as long as it takes to get your coach repaired.  It's only $75 so it will not break the bank.

Thanks for the lesson in etiquette while at the mother ship. I will certainly keep this in mind the next time we are there. My mother used to say you can catch more bees with honey than with vinegar.

Love the campground:

Have even had schedule conflicts (Live in MD, work in HOU) where they finished before I got back to town;

They put it into the campground, hooked up the electric, locked it up till I got there (only a couple of days, but still!!)

AND:  when they see something that is a problem they call right away:  (OK:  yeah:  is a hydraulic pump (aka; power steering) leak critical to the rig's operation; Don't know, but decided not to be on the road and find out;  Might make the better half a bit testy!!)

The do a great job, all the way around!
