Sourcing Lug Nut Cover

Lost a Lug Nut Cover a while ago and am looking for a replacement.  Found a replacement cover linked on Barry Bs web site but it does not show the round end with the design on it.  Does any one have this type?  I would appreciate sourcing info and part #.  I have looked at many truck stops and could replace it with a naked lady but.....

Your assistance is always appreciated.

Foretravel carries them. If not, give me your address and I will send you one (and an extra).

There are two types, one is a push on. The other is a threaded type, I now have over half of the threaded type, they hold the center cap much better and do not fall off as the push on model can & has fallen off.

Just do not over tighten the screw on type.  They are only plastic and will break.  DAN

Howdy Scott,
I've bought from these guys a couple of times: http://www.empirechromeshop.com/p-4588-alcoa-33mm-chrome-plastic-threaded-hex-lugnut-cover-single.aspx
Usually, get a six pack, lasts several years.

I get them online from an Alcoa distributor 10 or 12 at a time they ain't cheap though. By the way if you need to have any work done that requires the lug nuts to be removed remove your lugnut covers before hand, tire guys and mechanics are not nice to them at 5 bucks each.

Scott, i found a great replacement for our lug covers.  While on a trip to Yellowstone a couple of summers ago, we lost one. Dave and Nancy Abel were in the same park and gave us a replacement!  As Dave said, "we cant let a Foretravel go down the road with ugly wheels!

I found many at truck stops and the local Kenworth dealer.  Just not the ones with the design on the end.  Mine should be here by this Friday.  ;D

Thanks all.

You can find the ones with the design on the top Alcoa 33mm at "EmpireChromeshop.com"  $3.95 each plus shipping or about $6.00 delivered.  Screw on should be exact replacement.  I ordered some so will let you know if they are the same if interested.  The snap on type get loose after a while even if I ck after each trip.  Loose about 4 a year so going to the screw on type.  Just do not over tighten.  DAN

Thanks Larry - 50 for $50 sounds like a great deal.  Mine arrived yesterday.  I put one on and they appear to be smaller.  Could be an optical thing so will get out the vernier caliper and measure.  Hmmmph.  The design is there though.

I received the screw on nut covers.  They are an exact match.  These won't come off like the push on kind.  Just do not over tighten.  Only plastic.  DAN
