Body repair work

Being that I am way too far away to head to Nac Tx for repairs my local shop is making the repairs to the damage caused by the"road gator". Insurance estimate came in at about $1000. It also took out my speedo cable so we'll see how well they do. This shop works on many SOB's there is a Holiday Rambler ahead of me. Wish me luck!

Interesting info for all of you GV owners....my body shop spoke with Fortravel today and they are building a fender well from scratch and sending it up here to MI to be installed.  My body shop owner was shocked, as he was expecting to have to make one himself.

Just another example of how much Foretravel takes pride in their product by making sure it is right! That would never happen with a 1989 SOB that's for sure!

That's good to know Jeff. Thanks for sharing.
We are also quite a ways from TX being on the west side of MI near the big lake.  We've found a reputable service center for working on the Cummins M11 but haven't had the need yet for body work...knock on wood.
We are planning on taking an extended vacation in the near future to Nac to have our front end updated and maybe a new step installed by Xtreme.  At least that's the plan.

Good luck w/ the repair!

We picked up the coach today from the shop and they did a great job. They also re-sealed all the front and rear bulkhead seams for me.

A special thanks to Billy Jack at the factory. The shop said he was very helpful and the fit and finish on the part they made was perfect. The shop said they will alway mention Foretavel to their future customers as the "model" of how a coach company should be run. Feels pretty good to be a FT owner!

Now off to the Cummins dealer for the speedo and cruise repair in the morning.
