Mystery Electrical Object behind front TV

I've been working on TV upgrade project.  Poking around in back of the TV cabinet (after old TV removed) I see the object in photo below.  It is obviously part of the AC power circuit, but I can't figure out what it is.  Two wires with blue connectors on the bottom, one wire/blue connector on the top.  Hoping the more knowledgeable (almost anyone on the forum) can identify it.  Thanks in advance.

Could it be the device that turns the TV off when the ignition key is turned on?

That's exactly what it is.

It has two 120-volt Rolex cables on one end and one 120-volt Rolex cable on the other end. Why not open up the box a see what is inside. Junction box? Blue connectors are plastic strain reliefs, securing cables to the box.

There's a double pole relay with a 12 volt coil.  I removed my front TV and now use this relay to control a 120VAC air compressor.  I don't remember the current rating of the relay but I think it's in the 20-30 amp range - very big for switching a TV.

There was no mention of low voltage small wires in addition to the three 120-volt cables, which is required if it is indeed a 12-volt relay, turning off the TV when the ignition on.
