Isuzu 3LB1 Water Pump

Does anyone have a part number for the Isuzu water pump in the 99 8k Generator. Powertech wants a lot and I am looking for alternatives. Thanks

That is a possibility Dave. I will look around for someplace that rebuilds them tomorrow.

Not sure what model the Isuzu powered 8KW is, but my 10KW has the Isuzu 3LD1. My parts book shows the water pump for yrs Apr 95 to Jun 2002 for the 3LD1 as 897182-8531.

You might try giving the model and serial number of your engine to Jeff in parts at:

Mark I'll do a little checking around tomorrow, Isuzu parts will hurt your feelings. A good auto machine shop should be able to press it apart. You should be able to find the berrings, and seals.

Here are some part numbers for your reference.

For the 3LB engine. (My Engine)
Water Pump  8-97321-508-3
Thermostat    8-97160-654-0
Thermostat Gasket  8-94325-956-1

For the 3LD engine.
Water pump Kit  8-98126-231-0

Separate parts in kit
Water Pump Plugs  509605-0050
Pump Gasket  8-94365-674-2
Thermostat Housing  8971397120
Thermostat  8-97211-209-0

I think the 3LD pump also fits the 4LD and 4LE engines
