Simple Electrical Questions

I'm working on hooking up new AGM batteries, new smart charger/convertor, cleaning up electrical connections, etc.  Presently working on the isolator board (on my coach, located driver side aft of coach battery bay).  On this board I find the Isolator, the Boost Solenoid, the Aux Start Solenoid, 2 plastic relays, and 2 little rectangular devices.  On my wiring diagram they are labeled "15A".  I assume these are circuit breakers?

Questions (I tried using "search function" but I soon get lost in the maze of old and new posts.  Apparently EVERYBODY has electrical problems sooner or later):

1.  The little devices (circuit breakers?) labeled 15A:  Are they "auto-reset" or "manual reset"?  I would like to carry some spares.  Is there a forum recommended "best" part number or source?

2.  The plastic relays:  Anything special about these?  Is there a forum recommended "best" part number or source?

3.  The 2 solenoids:  Can you use the same part number in both positions?  Anybody have a favorite source/part number for these 2 solenoids?

Thanks for the help in advance.  I'm trying to slowly build up a "spare parts" supply, and I want to stock it with the best/most current items available.

PS: I already know about the highly recommended Blue Sea 9012 ignition solenoid.  It is on my "shopping list".

Yep those are auto reset. In a pinch as they rarely fail you can pull one out of the main panel to use temporarily.
2.  The plastic relays:  Anything special about these?  Is there a forum recommended "best" part number or source?
These are standard BOSCH type trelays, available everwhere,
3.  The 2 solenoids:  Can you use the same part number in both positions?  Anybody have a favorite source/part number for these 2 solenoids?
These are intrerchangeable and also interchange with the main ignition solenoid located in the front main panel.

Good luck, looks like you are headed the right way.

Thanks Gary for the response.  So nobody has any part numbers or good "favorite" source for the circuit breakers and solenoids?

Oops, I missed something here.  Circuit breakers are manual reset, all that I'm familiar with anyway.  The auto reset devices are a thermal device that trips on overload and automatically resets when they cool off.  Some motors and such have them also.  The breakers in the breaker panels are manual reset.  What am I missing??  Thanks and have a great day  ----  Fritz

These 12 volt breakers are auto reset, There are some 12 volt breakers that have a manual reset button, but these do not. We used to use a st80 or st81 solenoids from napa, can't remember which one is the best one.

The circuit breakers are for the remote start and also for A/C They are Bussman type and you can buy them anywere
The relays are part of the A/C circuit and again are avail;able anywer. The 2 solenoids you do not need to buy, you just take them apart and clean copper contacts inside. I have done this to the ones on 240 and now work fine. 30 min job for each-simple.

Fritz:  the circuit breakers being discussed are the ones on the isolator board.  Look on your wiring diagram and you will see them.

Thanks to Ron and John H for the more detailed info.  Exactly what i was looking for.

Also, if I DID want to replace the solenoids (or buy a spare), I finally tracked down the most recent "general consensus" forum answer to which model is the best: the Cole Hersee 24213.

Solenoids & Relays | Steel & Phenolic Body Solenoids24213 | Cole Hersee -

OR, how about this one (comes in a really cool RED color)?

FRitz, Look at the main panel in front of the passenger seat.  Those rows of little metal boxes are auto reset breakers, lots of them.  In fact each circuit has one.  If they trip you just wait til they cool and they reset.  At least that's how mine is.

Gary  ----  Thank you, I'll look for some of those.  There is no panel on the 91GV that is like yours, but there are little boxes that look like relays in the dash on the drivers side.  Maybe those are really breakers.  I'll look closer at them.  Thanks and have a great day  ----  Fritz

Chuck, if you do your own r+r of the solenoids you can seal the top (after peening it over again) like I did with epoxy and then you can paint it any colour you like ^.^d
All you need to take them apart is a smallish screwdriver (to get under rim of top) and a hammer to hit the screwdriver. Clean the contacts then put top on and peen over to hold. Fill rim with epoxy and let set-done.
