saw listing for a '99 Foretravel 40' on EBAY

Well, it's been awhile since I've posted on here, but I've been lurking a little.  I noticed this on EBAY a few days ago.  It sold, but is now re-listed.  Curious if anyone knows anything about it or if anyone is close enough to do a drive by?

looks like the spedo shows less than 30k miles.  The interior looks to be in pretty good shape too. Proabably needs batteries and tires.

If you mean the 1F97 at the start of the VIN, that is indicative of Foretravel, not year.  Our 2003 starts with 1F98....

Like other FT owners, I was curious enough to call the guy. It's sitting on a used car lot in AL. The bank still had a large lien (late fees, etc) so they auctioned it. The guy that bought it for his buddy had to resell it because the ole buddy bought one for himself and didn't tell the guy. They want out from under it quick so they did a three day sale. He bought it in Jackson MS and drove it to AL. I believe I can quote him here, "runs like a sewing machine". He stated that it was used for tailgating at some MS football games. He knows nothing about FTs so can tell you nothing about it. He said his phone was ringing off the wall and a great number of questions was about the aquahot, which it didn't have anyway. It's a U295 4000.....I think he said. He tried the generator but it won't stay running because of the low fuel level...as per him, again, folks. (and the boss won't authorize any additional fuel expense) He checked the hours on the generator but couldn't remember the number, during our conversation. Nice enough fellow, over the phone, anyway.

Did he say what what his reserve is?  It sold for $34.5K a few days ago but was re-listed yesterday.  I may make a play for it, not sure yet.  I don't like purchasing things unseen, but at this price it would have to have a lot wrong with it to not make it worthwhile.

Guess reserve was $34.5K as it just hit that mark.  If anyone is close to this and can go see it, would love some feedback!  If not, the search continues!
