Nacogdoches today 4-14-2014

Was in Nacogdoches today and this is what I found out. Real Estate sales are slow and behind normal numbers.  The city had no building permits last month.  However; Foretravel was covered with coaches  and I am sure some of them are yours. MOT was so covered up it was hard to drive into the parking lot.  James and Jennifer at Extreme are still booked well in advance.  Appears the RV business in Nacogdoches is doing well.  They should develop facilities for area rallies.  When I drove through the camping area at Foretravel recognized some of your coaches but no one around.  Maybe next time DAN

Hesitate to just second something, but the crowding is so evident I will second what Dan observed...having great time catching lunch or dinner with Forum friends when we know they are in town.

Coach sales volumes too seem high from what I observed. So not only service.

Cold mornings predicted, cool on the patio in evenings

We contributed to the NAC economy recently. The coach was there March 24 - April 11. We were there for about nine days of that period. We did business with FOT, Bernd Ramspeck, Herman Power Tire Company, Xtreme P&G, and a few restaurants. Service was good from all. ^.^d

Got to visit with a few Fofumers. ^.^d

The weather was nice. The dogwoods, wildflowers, and azaleas were magnificent. ^.^d

I will say he is always over worked so if you stay with the rig, it will get done sooner.

The contact information Freytag supplied is what I have. I was very pleased with his personality and the work he did on our coach.

We had a fuel leak that FOT couldn't fix. I called Ramspeck on the phone and he arrived at our coach in about 30 minutes. In 15 minutes he diagnosed the location and cause of the fuel leak, suggested some improvements in the way fuel lines were terminated at the engine, and could tell by the sound of the engine that the valves needed to be adjusted (about 110K miles on the C8.3). We took the coach to him on Thursday afternoon. I asked whether he would prefer we stay with the coach or go home. He recommended that we go home. On Friday he called for permission to change a belt and tensioner. On Monday, he was finished with his work on our coach and took it to Xtreme P&G so they could start their work. We showed up Tuesday afternoon at Xtreme to hang around while they did their work.

It appears that he did all the work he promised at the price he quoted. We paid him by check while we were in NAC to get work done at Xtreme. Best I can tell, he made some good improvements.
