Can you retrofit a 2005 U270 with LP furnace to an AquaHot?

Thinking of a possible move from a U320 2000 to a 2005 U270 ... Is it possible to retrofit an AquaHot to the 270... It currently has a furnace???

Mavericks,

As one of my friends says, "It only takes time and money."

This can be done by giving up some basement storage for the new heater and running the necessary pex piping to fan coils installed inside the cabinets or furniture.  New thermostats for the inside and basement will be needed also with the wiring runs from thermostats, fans and on/off switches.  Involved but doable, $$$$.

Roger Berke is the best price source for all parts needed and the the one to know all that you will need to accomplish this install.

IMO.....?? Don't.......We finally added a 20 gallon water heater and bypassed the aquahot for hot water. One of my better moves. Saves me big bucks annually, vs aquahot r & r!!
Aquahot is Great for heating the coach, but nothing but problems for hot water..........leaked a lot/ had it rebuilt twice/ insurance (hartford??) never would pay......

Made me miss our old 96 with furnaces and water heater!! (U295)

Old thread here but I had to say something.

Happy Spring.....I hope........DeWayne and Rose

Seems like if you really wanted it, rather than an aquahot a radiant system could be built around a propane fired tankless heater.  They are used to power radiant floor heat system in homes.

Or even an inexpensive regular propane RV water heater with a 12V water pump. Mixing diesel with a water heater or any kind of heater means more maintenance in the long run. Japanese Toyo is the only exception I can think of.
