On our '93 model, the Foretravel clock was stuck to the overhead panel with several pieces of velcro.  If yours is the same, it should come off with a firm tug.  Our clock is battery powered - just change out the battery on yours and see if it works.  If not, the clock mechanism is easily replaced at any hobby store.

Good luck with the new ride!

Those Foretravel clocks are collector's items.  They were not standard in the newer coaches.

Andy,

I replaced the mechanism and hands on mine. Here's a prior post.

Many of us still have the original Foretravel clock.  Mine is 20 years old and running slow so I replaced the motor and hands with new ones from Hobby Lobby.  I referred to Don Hay's post on the subject and it was as easy as he said.  The new kit was $6.99 and the fits perfectly even though the shaft is a little bit longer than the original.  I also replaced the old velcro with 3M Command Velcro Pull Tab Removable Strips.  Carefully remove it as Gary B  suggests  and don't just rip it off!  With the mechanism out, I also polished the clock face with Howard Feed-n-Wax which is the best product I've found for conditioning and polishing the wood. Howard Feed-N-Wax 16 fl.-oz. Wood Polish and Conditioner-FW0016 at The Home Depot.

Looks and works as good as new!

Thanks Don Hay and Gary B

We have a digital clock above the bed by the generator and light switches. I can't figure out how to set it. Any instructions appreciated. Mark

Mark, There is a slide switch on mine, one position for hours, one for minutes and a third position for setting the alarm.  Useful to have a flashlight while laying on your back trying to read those little itti bitty labels, Also switch to turn display off so it does not shine in your eyes all night.

Sure would love to get my hands on one! I suspect our '95 originally had one, but it wasn't there when we purchased it.

Thanks Gary. My clock must be different. It has a rocker switch to turn the display on and off, a slide switch to turn the alarm on and off, and a three position slide switch alarm, run, and time. I assume this is for setting alarm and time. Next to the display are two buttons, Fast and Slow. I have tried every combination of button pushing I can think of and the display just flashes a time and I cannot change it. Mark

Mark, this is how ours works;
ALARM - fast or slow adjusts time, only goes one way
TIME- same process
Switch to run

If that doesn't work, keep trying - after a dozen times my DW got it to work ^.^d

Thanks John for the tips. It sounds like you must have the same clock. Nothing works to set my clock so I tried my electronic repair trick. Cut the power and see if it fixes itself. It did not help. But there was a tag on the back from the company that made or sold the clock to FT, but it seems they are no longer in business. Not a big deal, but I like to keep everything working. Anyone know of a electronic repair shop to fix it? Thanks Mark

A quick bit of googling found many places that will make fusion laser engraved pieces, even clocks. All you need do is provide the artwork. Not that expensive, either.

Hope your dash switches still have their labels.  But there is a monitor ON/OFF switch, and a 3 position switch for the display, to show the tanks/ camera,/temp/compass.

After checking the fuse, if you find the whole system "dead", many on the forum have upgraded to SeeLevel tank gauges, and new tech, color wide angle, night vision cameras and larger screens.  Then you junk the antique Audit system.
