Had a leak

Well I had a leak and water was dripping into the large cargo bay,I thought it was from the ice maker water line,because I had a leak there when I turned water on. Anyway it was still dripping but slow so I went looking for the cause. I had to remove the bottom shelf of the cabinet ,found a old mouse nest vacuumed that up but everything was dry,Hmmn,started running water in sink and looking ,no leaks,but I had water dripping in cargo bay, AhHa theres a drain line leak but where? So I see a drain pipe from sink goes into floor,above cargo bay,so after about 2 hrs thinking I can remove trim strip and see between cargo bay and floor I said ,to hell with this took some measurements and cut a opening in cargo bay ceiling, Wahlah! drain P trap split in 2, Took it off and headed out to Home Depot  got a new trap and will fit it back in tomorrow am,Make a nice cover for my new hole and that job will be done!!

Be sure you dry the basement out completely.  You don't want that water migrating down into the basement structure.

I have a 6" x 6" square access hole in the basement ceiling (passengers side) that has a thin fiberglass (filon) cover held with 4 screws.  The shower P-trap is accessed from there.  I have always thought it was factory because that P-trap drops into hole cut-out.  It appears that there would have been no other way to get a P-trap in there without the access hole when the coach was built.  We have the same year, length and floor plan; yours was build 50 units ahead of mine.  Makes me wonder how they were built differently.  I've had a leak there too; p-trap was clogged and seal just wasn't quite good enough for standing water.  I've learned to clean it out when I notice the shower drain starting to back up slightly.
