02 zip dee big awning

Without callin zipdee and coach in storage can anyone tell me where you can turn off the auto high wind retract on this awning?? Understand you are not suppose to tie these down.  Ok but I wish to hang lights.  At what wind speed will these things retract anyway? This is the 02 with the arms.  has been working great, so plan to use more. Tks DAN

I got no reponse to my questions so here goes again.  I am thinking there has to be a switch for the auto retract somewhere and the most likely place is inside the control box but where??

I have NO clue if you can turn it off ... ours was broken when we bought the coach and I am not getting it repaired.  I would never tie the awning down. As you correctly said that is not advised. I think that calling ZipDee is that only way to get good advice.

There is a switch in the gray box in the bay that turns it off if it is like ours

OK Tks With that off I plan to place lights on it for evening use.  I know many of you with the manual units do the same but I have not done it due to a possible retraction.  DAn
